Rebranded as Cision 2014, it merged with Vocus, Gorkana Group, Visible Technologies, PRWeb, Help a Reporter Out (HARO) and iContact to create the largest PR software comany. Today, with more than 100,000 customers and offices in nine countries, Cision is the leading provider of public relations and social software.
Cision approached us with the challeging task of creating a unified design language for their entire suite of products. With rapid expanision through acquisitions came several different products, user experiences and development teams. Our goal was to create a unified user experience across their suite of products and enable several geographically distributed engineering teams to deliver consistent user experiences in short order to hit the rebrand timeframe.

Our design team integrated deeply into the Cision Product and Development team. We led design sprints in way that we were always several weeks ahead of their engineering team in order to fine tune user experience, before it was delivered to the engineering team. This ensured high velocity development with very little back and forth.

Influencer search needed a usability upgrade to modernize it and improve the user experience. We conducted internal & external user interviews and research. A thorough round of testing identified core quadrants that required immediate attention. The new and improved Influencer Search helped reposition Cision to be the best in it's class.
Profiles were overhauled to meet modern usability standards. Content was carefully prioritzed to meet core use cases and user stories. Data presentation got a fresh new look and proper visual hierarchy was introduced to help users evaluate an Influencer's fit pertaining to the launch of a successful campaign.
We tested several data visualization concepts to allow users to easily identify the best partners at a glance.
Conversion focused landing pages helped build awareness and increased conversions. We chased the most important metrics while fully respecting visual design fidelity to ensure a high level of consistency and conversions.
Apart from improving Desktop features, a responsive design was always in the back of our minds. Themes helped facilitate the speed up our design & development process.
A compelling mobile experience allowed our users to track their campaigns in real time, allowing them to capitalize on untapped opportunities.
